In honour of 150 years of Liberty, the design house joins forces with Manteco, Italy’s leading textile company in sustainable wool for a bold new chapter. Marking the creation of a new category in luxury textiles, the collaboration is a celebration of artistic excellence and innovation. For the first time ever, a curated selection of some of Liberty Fabric’s most iconic prints have been reimagined on two exceptional wools and a premium cotton base. The wools are crafted from Manteco’s MWool®, a cutting-edge, recycled material that reduces environmental impact by an impressive 99.2% compared to conventional virgin wool. Using revolutionary waterless printing technology, this collaboration merges visual brilliance with uniquely pioneered production methods. Drawing from two of the industry’s richest textile archives, this series marks the brands’ shared commitment to craft and circularity in a bid to redefine responsible luxury.
With intricate linework and a balanced composition, Prospect Path reimagines Liberty’s classic landscape print, Prospect Road, from a fresh, monochrome perspective. A new interpretation of Bernard Nevill’s original 1968 design, it reveals a scenic panorama of stylised trees, drifting clouds, and graphic meadows. Redrawn in bold outlines, this eclectic conversational highlights the design’s distinctive forms and subtle Art Nouveau influences.
The design is printed on Manteco’s MWool, a cutting-edge, recycled cloth noted for its resistance to stains, wrinkles and odours, and its soft, breathable finish. This fabric is characterised by a substantial hand feel that lends itself to shirts, overshirts and outerwear.
